Secret Santa 2008

I think I found an idea for my giftee in this year's Secret Santa!! She's a smoker so I think I'm going to go with fingerless gloves...she's from Vegas and recently moved her for the job and even tho she might be used to cold nights and winters, Portland is cold almost all the time! It could be the middle of July and we're hit w a spell of 50 degree days. I think making a simple ribbed hat to match would seal the deal and I highly, highly doubt I'll be going over the $10 limit, seeing as I already have the yarn and it's only a matter of working really, really fast!!
