The Bean Cap

This is offically the first pattern I've written!! It's just a simple beanie with a seed stitch brim but I like the way it looks and you know the saying, 'Simple is Elegant'!!
CO 96 sts
Row 1: Knit in Seed Stitch (k1, p1; knit your purls and purl your knits) and join, being careful not to twist your sts.
Rounds 2-10: Continue working in Seed Stitch, knitting your purls and purling your knits
Work Stockinette Stitch till work measures 7" from CO edge
Crown Decreases
Round 1: *k6, K2tog; repeat from * till end of round - 84 sts
Round 2: KNIT
Round 3: *k5, k2tog; repeat from * till end of round - 72 sts
Round 4: KNIT
Round 5: *k4, k2tog; repeat from * till end of round - 60 sts
Round 6: KNIT
Round 7: *k3, k2tog; repeat from * till end of round - 48 sts
Round 8: KNIT
Round 9: *k2, k2tog; repeat from * till end of round - 36 sts
Round 10: KNIT
Round 11: *k1, k2tog; repeat from * till end of round - 24 sts
Round 12: KNIT
Round 13: k2tog - 12 sts
Round 14: KNIT
Round 15: k2tog - 6 sts
Cut yarn, leaving a tail. Thread tail through tapestry needle and through the last 6 sts remaining; remove from needle. Pull tightly to close top of hat. Weave in ends on WS (inside of hat).
